Family oriented Rita Ranch in Southeast Tucson is just three miles from I-10 and Houghton Road. Construction started on the Master Planned Community of Rita Ranch in the late 1980’s and is made up of several different neighborhoods and subdivisions.  Rita Ranch enjoyed its greatest expansion in the 1990’s, but homes continue to be built as recently as 2006. Rita Ranch is conveniently located to several major employment centers, which is why it is very popular with employees of Raytheon, the University of Arizona’s Science and Technology Park, Tucson International Airport or soldiers stationed at Davis Monthan Air Force Base. With easy access to I-10, civilians and soldiers working at Fort Huachuca in Sierra Vista also call Rita Ranch home.
